The Herbert Grand Hotel is located across the street from groomed snowmobile trails and within one-minute of the entrance to the Black Fly Loop, a series of more than 300 miles of interconnected, well-groomed, snowmobile trails that reach north through Eustis, Jackman and the Forks, west to Rangely, Oquossoc and New Hampshire, east to Carrabassett Valley and south to Farmington, Wilton and Weld. The Black Fly Loop has the widest variety of trails available in the east. Spectacular lookouts abound from mountaintops to glacier valleys with frequent moose and deer sightings along the way. The Herbert Grand Hotel offers ample free parking for snowmobile trailers and maps of the well-groomed snowmobile trails and guests can sled into and out of the hotel for convenience.
